I have moved to a new home http://sillyreflections.com See you there! You can read this article directly here: Lonely
.
After coming back from dreams into the harsh reality I felt very lonely in this world! What if I was alone in tackling all these obstacles! For a few moments a chill of loneliness swept me aside, even though I knew that I was living amongst a billion people here.
Right after capturing the pic “Reality” I saw this elderly person sitting on the roadside along the bank of Brahmaputra. I felt this image would capture and convey my feelings perfectly and here it is! In the background, a very busy road of Guwahati looking deserted at peak time!!

Wow, this is a really beautiful picture! makes me want to do more street photography!

Posted by Hindupur Avinash | February 20, 2012, 1:42 AMHaving lived in a big city and on a small island off the west coast of Scotland I would say the people were much more friendly on the island. There was also a ceilidh (a traditional Gaelic social gathering, which usually involves playing Gaelic folk music and dancing) every week when everyone in the village got together for dancing and socializing.
Never got that in the big city.

Posted by Hindupur Avinash | February 20, 2012, 5:51 PMLoneliness has little to do with how many people are in the same proximity. Sometimes we feel lonelier when in a crowd. We’re lonely because we don’t have anyone to share our view of things, or our feelings.
