I have moved to a new home http://sillyreflections.com See you there! You can read this article directly here: Relief

All the Hard work on photography was not at all a burden on me, but in fact it was a relief! Relief from all this daily madness that we go through in our lives. I started to realize all the small and beautiful things that I had missed all these days, and helped rekindle my curiosity in surroundings even more!

This picture was captured around 1 PM, as all the construction workers took a brief rest from what had been a hectic day for them. I could see relief in their eyes, the same that I was feeling in my mind.

  1. These poor workers are not wearing any safety gear such as steel toe capped boots, hard hats or fluorescent vests. Their employers should get some health and safety policies set up.

Hope none of them get injured badly.

  2. Taking nothing away from your efforts, imagine what it was like back when I was learning: when in between snapping the shutter and looking at the results one spent two to three hours developing, printing and drying the images. Even when it became possible to machine-develop and print, you still never saw the results while you were in a position to re-shoot.

Digital cameras are fantastic! I will never again shoot a roll of film, unless it’s to remind myself just how wonderful things are today.
